Genealogy!

Hey guys, Classes are going crazy right now and are in full force! I am currently working on a paper about my families history. Who knew that genealogy could be so fun. You can find out so much! Most local libraries have ancestry.com and other search options on their computer and get this.. you can use it for FREE! Awesome right!? For my mom's side I have it easy, my great aunt did a entire genealogy so I have that to go off of. My dad's side I don't have much, and I also want to look into my fiancee family too. Whew do I have work to do!

I can't be more excited to get this semester done and over with so I can start my student teaching and get a teaching job! I have been in school since I was 3, so I think it's time for this stuff to be over with right!? :)

Student teaching!

Hey guys! It's been a while, but I have sure been BUSY! I just finished my summer nanny job today, and I am going to miss those sweet boys! There are twin two year old boys and are the cutest things ever!

Well I start my "first" teacher day tomorrow for student teaching. I don't officially start student teaching until Spring, but I get to go the first teacher days and the first 3 student days to see how everything works! Cool huh!? I made a cute name tag for myself and everything! :) What do your first days look like? Cazyness!? lol.

Since it is summer, I have this obsession with the TV show One Tree Hill, I have seasons 1-6 on  DVD and have been watching them all summer! I know it is just a TV show but wow its a great one! :) Thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from the show:

I really really want that Canon camera, fiancee says we are saving for house, cars, ext..He's totally right but I can't stop thinking about the amazing pics I could be taking!! :) 

Here in Indiana we haven't had rain in so long, had a few storms last week but didn't last long. My flowers and plants NEED it BADLY!!!! Tomorrow it will be 110 degrees!! YIKES!! 

I not a teacher yet so have no idea what my go to book is for a children's book! In one of my classes we watched a video of Harry Wong speaking and he is a funny guy with lots of good first year teaching ideas!
